Commit to memory: “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.” (1 Peter 5:10 KJV)
The Original plan and purpose of God at creation was wonderful and good (Gen. 1:28). Infact, the common language at the very beginning was excellence and perfection but when man fell and was banished (Gen. 3:4-6); man’s journey to setbacks, ills and perils began. So it’s in this helpless state God saw the need to restore man back to the place and height of honour and dominion he had fallen from of which he once occupied and one way the Lord does this is through Divine settlement. I pray, every damage done to your destiny and even now; the Almighty God shall visit and settle you.
Beloved, what is that area of your life that requires divine settlement? Is it God’s will in marriage, settlement in business, your finance, your children, family life, ministry, your career or job and your total well being or even spiritually: God’s desire is that you be settled so He uses Divine settlement as a way and strategy for blessing and making His children channels of blessing notwithstanding their personal abilities, placement or vocation (1Peter 1:3).
To settle means to be given all or compensated with life’s situations that the enemy has owed or robbed you of. The children of Israel had actually been periled for over four hundred years but when the Almighty God stepped in, they were sorted and settled within one day, all they were owed. For a user of this inspiration, in the order of Mephebosheth, all your rights and privileges that life, situations and satan has denied you or perhaps taken away from you; as the Lord lives, it shall be returned and restored to you in Jesus mighty name.
Reflection: Confession of faith-filled words is a key weapon to divine settlement. Close not your mouth!
