The Power of Consistency

Commit to Memory: “For I am the LORD, I do not change [but remain faithful to My covenant with you]; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, have not come to an end.” Malachi 3:6 AMP

Consistency is one key to gaining mastery over anything and whatever you set your heart to do. It is one powerful too especially in the hand of a Believer which when explored will yield maximum and humbling results.

The Bible says Peter had toiled all night fishing but caught nothing. We need to learn that he didn’t give up despite Jesus telling him to try one more time. He said: Nevertheless, that is- notwithstanding I have no result to show for my labour; I will let down my net. In other words, I will continue doing what I have been doing. He did the same thing he had been diligently doing over time. But because he was consistent- the miracle came knocking and he caught a net breaking, boat sinking, multitude of fish. No wonder David said in Psalm 71:14 NLT

“I will keep on hoping for you to help me and; I will praise you more and more.”

As far as David was concerned, consistency in praise would bring divine help to Him and so he will continue until the help on the way arrived and even continue after the arrival of the help- that is consistency.

Friends, do you seek dumbfounding results? Do you desire to be reckoned with? Then be consistent in that which your hand has found to do and do it well and with all your heart. Our commit to memory says God cannot change but remain faithful to His covenant with His children. He is ever committed to a pattern of doing things.

You will definitely become a master of whatever you do overtime wholeheartedly- that’s the power of consistency and the truth is that you will become better and soon at best at the thing you have committed your time, resources, energy and above all, you’ve committed to God as He will ensure it ends successful. Hallelujah

Reflection: Any time you are consistent to a course notwithstanding challenges, you attract greatness by default.
