The eyes of the Lord moves  to and fro seeking for those whose hearts are perfect before Him, seeking for those  who will become physical monuments and altars of prayer. To achieve this, intimacy with God becomes prime.

The tested and trusted source for staying white-hot for the Lord is in devoting yourself consistently to the place-of-the-shut-door. It’s the place where “the spirit of burning” (Isaiah 4:4) ignites your soul as you set your gaze upon His glory with an unveiled face (2 Corinthians 3:18). The patriarchs of old got engaged in this and were fearsome to the kingdom of darkness and thus did exploits in their generation such that they are a reference of relevance even in today’s world.

Do you desire a greater influence and impact?  Then get engaged in the secret place. How? Invite the Burning One- the Holy Spirit, to ignite the eternal flame of His fiery jealousy in your life. Little wonder the Bible says in James 4:5 that:

 “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”

 The agenda of this yearning jealousy is that you as a bride of Christ, once you become Born again might be set ablaze with an exclusive and fiery passion for intimacy with God.

Friends, are you desperate for an intimate relationship with God? Do you live your life at the expense of your soul? Is your voice recognised in the secret place? When was the last time you had your quiet time? Have your busy daily schedule swept off your time with God in the secret place? Do you now find spiritual things boring and time wasting? If this defines you, the Lord is saying “WAKE UP! and begin to build your personal relationship with the Lord.” And take it more seriously than ever before.
