No Lack to those that Fear God

Commit to Memory: “Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.” (Psalms 34:9 NIV)

We serve a God who is dependably dynamic in wealth, the commander of riches, satisfaction, fulfilment, the very owner of the Cattle upon the thousand hills and the One who lays gold as dust. Little wonder He is called the Elshaddai- that is the One whose breast is ever flowing all seasons to satisfy the needs and desires of His children and in this wise- ‘those that fear Him’ (Philip.4:19), unlike the breast of a nursing mother that only flows especially after pregnancy to nurture her baby for a duration of time and ceases flow after some time, but the Almighty God is ever Able and Capable to meet and supply your needs. Halleluyah. So in this similitude, our commit to memory relays that once you make up your mind to fear the Lord, this major clause will guarantee your spiritual, financial, material and physical blessings. So God’s word to you this day is that, there’s no lack as far as God is concerned about you. You just got to believe it and it will work for you. You’ve got to have this mindset that made David say in Psalm 23:1 NIV that “the Lord is my Shepherd, I LACK NOTHING”.

What is Lack? In this wise, it means to be devoid of something which makes for your satisfaction, fulfillment and laughter. It depicts to suffer famine, inadequacy, scarcity, drought, insufficiency and poverty. That’s why the Bible says in Proverbs 34:10 AMP that:

“…but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.”

Can you see that, can you let the impulse of that statement to sink in a while? I tell you Beloved, if you have this confidence, insight and believe this scriptural assurance; then I tell you, most assuredly as the Lord lives whose words are Yea and Amen and cannot lie, your life will lack nothing good and beneficial in godliness. Child of God, your Heavenly Father wants you to have no need, no poverty, nothing needed and not lacking any beneficial thing. I pray for a user of this inspiration, every good thing your eyes have seen, your ears have heard, your heart has conceived but yet to be received by your hands; in the name of Jesus receive it.

Reflection: If you can just change the way you see yourself, and see yourself in God’s eyes- you will rise to the level of abundance and satisfaction.

Prayer Lines: Father, like a nursing mother carry me at your back and put an end to lack in every area of my life.
