Commit to Memory: “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is lifting up, and he shall save the humble person.” (Job 22:29 KJV)
The right thing to do in the natural sense for a Believer when knocked down is to get up, little wonder the Bible says in Proverbs 24:16 NIV that:
“Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamities strikes.”
That is why it is very important that you are righteous in God’s eyes so that you will be able to rise in the midst of the storms that stopped others before you. Our commit to memory relays that as far as we are on the Lord’s side, righteous and humble; then our story all through life’s experiences and vicissitudes is that through it all- we will continually be lifted up. Why? That’s our design and we operate that way by default.
What is it that has placed a limitation on your life and destiny? Is it your name or family name like Jabez- his name meant sorrow and pain and had placed a limitation on his life (1 Chron.4:9-10). Is it the enemy- like the four horns that scattered Israel, Judah and Jerusalem such that no man could lift up their head (Zech.1:18-21). Is it your own doing for living in sin and doing evil in the sight of God continually- like the Israelites who did great evil in God’s sight such that God cursed the midianites to prevail over them in battle (Jdgs.6:1-10). Is it wicked and unreasonable men- like Herod who placed a limitation upon the Apostles by killing James, imprisoning Peter and orchestrating also his death (Acts 12:1-10). Is it generational limitation that has become an evil pattern as seen in the life of Sarah, Rebecca and Rachael who were barren. Does this explain your situation or whatever else has limited you from becoming what the Almighty God ordained you to be. I pray that the Lord will remove every limitation attached to your life in Jesus name.
Reflection: God wants you to breakthrough your limitations to become what he has designed and intended for you to become individually.
Prayer Lines:
•Father, beginning from now, let my mountains break forth into singing in the name of Jesus.
•Arrows of endless and fruitless struggles fired as a limitation into my life, thou Arrow of the Almighty, backfire by fire now
•Father, in every sphere of my life, let there be a lifting in the name of Jesus.
