The Key to Multiplication- part 3

Commit to Memory:  “And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.”  John 6:11 KJV

In life, the secret to “MORE” is Thanksgiving. You want more money, more results, more love in your relationship, more fruitfulness, more help, more ideas especially in times like this, more peace, more blessings, more joy, more grace, more favour, more power, more anointing etc. Then Give thanks.

Psalms 92:1  says:

“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:”

Why is this so? Thanksgiving is the prerequisite to the supernatural hand of God in the affairs of men. (John 11:40-44). Elijah gave thanks and the fire fell (1 Kings 18:36-38), Jesus gave thanks and there was multiplication- enough food to go round- “There was MORE” (John 6:13). What are you waiting for? You want a miracle that will end your ridicule- Give Thanks.

Beloved, thanksgiving is the mother of multiplication. If you can thank God enough for the little, more will be made available. Our challenge is foresight. If God can show us the outcome from the beginning of our expectations and desires; then we will learn to trust him dependably and consistently.

Do you desire more of God and increase on all fronts? If you can thank Him for the provision in your hand, you will see His expansion beyond your expectations.

In our storyline of today’s commit to memory, Jesus took the bread, lifted it up and gave thanks and suddenly multiplication began (John 6:11-13).

The Bible says Jesus lifted up the basket and gave thanks, what is it that you want God to multiply in your hands? Lift it up to Him in thanksgiving today. If you always want more: Stop the complain, stop murmuring and give thanks.

Reflection: In the Kingdom, anytime you need something- the way you intimate God is to say thank you.

Prayer Lines: Father, I lay aside my worries and complaints, multiply thou the work of my hands.
