Commit to memory: “The LORD will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm.” Exodus 14:14 AMP
We live in a world where wickedness is the order of day but in the midst of these, the Almighty God has promised to give us victory on every side. Little wonder Jesus said: in this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, as far as Jesus is in you, you will overcome evil and the evil one in the world (John 16:33 emphasis mine). Do you desire victory on every side? Then stop fighting alone. Psalm 68:1 says
“Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.”
In the name of Jesus for a user of this inspiration, beginning from today, this prayer shall manifest in your life. Beloved, if it is true that majority of the battles you are fighting are invisible then you need the Immortal and Invincible God who sees and knows it all to fight all your battles for you.
In our commit to memory today, all that the Almighty God requires of you to be on the victory side always is to be still and experience peace. Why? When God decides to fight for you, no matter the strategies of the enemy; they will be fighting a defeated battle. For example in 2 Chron 20:1-3, king Jehoshaphat got a word that the enemies of Israel- the Moabites, Ammonnites and some of the Meunites came to fight him. In verse 3, the Bible says he sought the Lord- in other words he told the Lord to take over the battle and fight for him. Why? He understood that the weapons of our warfare are not canal, he knew that all power belongs to God, he just fathomed that one with God is majority, he saw that when the God of war who makes wars to cease is on your side, you cannot fear what man can do to you, it became clear to him the battle is not his but the LORDS. But how? He proclaimed a fast throughout Judah and sought for divine help (2 Chron 20:4). And the Lord Almighty gave him and Israel victory without a fight (2 Chron.20:22).
Reflection: God does not need you for anything, you need God for everything. So hands off for God to take over your battles.
