Commit to Memory: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 KJV
It’s amazing that God is ever faithful to all of His promises as depicted in the pages of scriptures. One of these promises is that He is doing a new thing in your life this season by his very capacity. Why? He is the Force that compels and multiplies results. He is creating new things never seen , heard in your life. Halleluyah.
Friends, forget the trials, let go of the setbacks, the disappointments, press the delete button of failures off your memory, leap over the walls that make you think and feel nothing good can suffice in your life ever again because of your ugly and wayward past, look away from the things that make your heart to ponder and wonder in fear. Why? Because God is not a man, compassion runs in his veins and love in his being- He takes pleasure in reawakening, restoration and new beginnings, He is doing a new thing eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, even the hearts of men have not conceived the new things God is about to birth in your life. Isaiah 42:9 says:
“Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
When the Israelites were stocked on their exodus from Egypt via the red sea, God had to instruct Moses to tell the people to ‘Go forward’. (Exodus 14:15). Stop the complaints, stop the blame game, cease meditating on the repeated opportunities that passed you bye, for God is doing and creating new things for and with you. This new thing will make you forget all your missed opportunities of the past and cause you to forever say that the Lord has been good to you. I pray that for a user of this inspiration, your heart will not just imagine these new things the Lord is creating for you, but your eyes will see it, your mouth will testify and your hands will capture it. May this be your lot today.
Reflection: Dwelling in your past limits your future glory making it plagued.
Prayer Lines: O God of a new beginning, do and create new things in my life.
