…”Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them, and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, you will say, `The Lord needs them,` and immediately he will send them.” Matthew 21:2-3 (WEB).
Christ has dominion over all creatures, the heart of mankind are both under his eye and in his hand. A more explicit account of this story is documented in Luke 19:29-35. Jesus told two of his key disciples to go in rescue of a long forgotten ass. They were to go to a particular village in search of a donkey that have been tied to a spot for years unknown, loose the ass, why? Because freedom has come. Why? Because the only thing the ass needed was a miracle. The disciples have been notified by Christ that some powers and people would ask why the release of the ass but they should be made to know the master is in need of the ass.
Friends, there are some lessons to learn here: Firstly, the ass was living in bandage; so many lives are in bondage awaiting a miracle. Have your destiny been captured and tied down by unseen forces then you need a miracle. Have you been captured by the powers of your father’s house; then you need a miracle. Secondly the ass have been in a particular spot for long? Have you been in a position for a while yet to be promoted? Have you been delayed in marriage, career, ministry and the likes? Here this, the Lord is in need of your promotion, you need a miracle. Thirdly, the ass was long forgotten. Have you been long forgotten by those that will aid the fulfillment of your glorious destiny, then you need a miracle.
Folks, even Jesus needed a miracle to fulfil the complete work of redemption as Simon of Cyrene helped him carry the cross when Christ was weak weary and worned-out. (Matthew 27:32, Mark 15:21). Are you oppressed, possessed, obsessed, suppressed, depressed and perplexed, Are you still in the valley? Then you need a miracle. Why not cry unto God today and He will give you a miracle and cause you to daily walk in miracle.
Prayer Lines: Father, I have no one, all I need is you; give me my miracle in Jesus name.
