Then the LORD took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have. Genesis 15:5 (NLT)
Do you have a dream? Then you need to believe in your dreams. The Bible says God took Abraham abroad and said to him to look up, what can you see? Wise Abraham saw stars and began to number them and as much as he could count, so was his blessings but for the Blind man Jesus healed he could at first only see men as trees. (Mark 8:24)
Friends, the future you cannot see, you can never attain. What are you seeing? Are you seeing stars like Abraham or you are seeing trees like the blind man. Abraham did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God. (Romans 4:20).
Folks, you need to see beyond your present predicament, do you believe that the challenge that seem to mock God in your life will not see your end but rather you will see its end. This we can learn from Abraham who was plagued with childlessness and to worsen the situation his wife was barren having exceeded menopause, but because Abraham was able to see into the future and believed God, he was given Isaac for a blessing and countless descendants yet unborn.
Friends, how far can you see, can you see God in your darkest nights? can you believe that God is behind the scenes of your life? Until you can see your desired future, you never achieve it in glory. Do you know your perception of things are key to your rise in stardom. It’s important you see things the way God sees them. Have the faith of God, see God in the dark in that challenge that seems to way you down and I tell you, you will laugh last.
Prayer Lines: Father, give me the eyes of faith to see light in my darkest nights. Jesus give me the faith of God.
