Our Choices in Life – part 3

“Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap”. (Galatians 6:7).

In the making of stars, choices are key and the power to choose makes us the masters of our own destiny. The strongest principle of growth lies in human choice says George Eliot. There are many who play the blame game for things that happen to them in life as they sideline themselves as the architect of their misfortunes. There are others who play the victim role, rationalizing to self that it was someone else’s fault. There are some who claim they have been cursed by some one some where and even by evil spell. Others call it bad luck. Whatever you call it, your life can drastically improve by changing the choices you make.

Friends, in every single thing you do, always be aware you are choosing a direction for your life is a product of choices and it is our choices that show what we truly are as choices speak volume far more than our abilities.

Age has nothing to do with choice and decision making but God. For you to make wise decisions and right but godly choices; you must have and be led of the Spirit of God. (Romans 8:14). Destiny is not a matter of age, sex, race or chance, it is a matter of choice; you don’t wait for it; you venture into it for it is a thing to be achieved by reason of the choices you take so folks, if you must be great in life, you must learn to put the past behind and make right choices today. Don’t take decisions when you are sad, happy or excited; but take them calmly in the fear of God.

Beloveth of God, Life is the sum of all your choices according to Albert Camus. if you sincerely want to move forward in life, your ability to make right choices must be urgently corrected for one of the greatest power that God has gifted mankind is the power to choose. No matter your past glories and achievements, there are always rooms for the breaking of new grounds. What choice are you making today, are people your decision makers? Do you seek counsel from God in your decisions? No matter who you are and where you come from, across all race; its pertinent we examine these areas of choice making as it makes or aborts our destinies:

• Making the right choice of a life partner. This is so important as 90% of your wellbeing in life and destiny depends on it.
• Choosing the best course of study. This you must do seeking God’s face in prayer and looking closely at your area of skill and expertise.
• Deciding to live a healthy lifestyle by drinking much water daily, desisting from alcohol and hard drugs, observing the right amount of sleep, exercise, and eating healthy.
• Striking a balance in your life through spiritual fulfillment in the word and prayer.
• Making a good decision on what career to pursue by studying hard and finding out in prayer and fasting.
• Making a firm decision on what business venture to undertake by seeking godly counsel from those in such pursuit.
• Making a tough choice about the people you associate with by presenting yourself as a living sacrifice and living an exemplary lifestyle.

Folks, we choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them for the choices you make can either make or plague your destiny. What choice are you making today?

-Acquisition of information is a choice and application of insights in gaining new grounds is also a choice.
-Having a glorious past is a choice and gaining new grounds daily is also a choice.
-Living in sin is a deadly choice and living for Christ is also a glorious eternal choice.
-The mentality of ‘Giving’ is a choice and the mentality of always ‘receiving’ is also a very costly and dreadful choice.
-To be calm and quiet grooms and grows you deeper in wisdom is a choice and to be a talkative makes you loose your virtues and values is also a choice.
-To know what you want is a choice and to accept whatever comes your way is also a choice.
-To doubt all things is a choice and to have faith in all things is also a choice.
-To be an Approved Christian by God is a choice and to be an hypocrite is also a choice. What choice are you making today? Selah
