Every successful marriage brings honour to God! It testifies to the wonder and genius of His design and purposes. Every dynamic Christian marriage is really a bright reflection—shining out to every person and every spiritual authority in the world as it shows the love between Jesus and His church. So our marital sexual life must not disappoint heaven.
Sex by God’s design is strictly for the married. God is against any sexual activity outside his will. He detests Adultery: sex outside of marriage (Leviticus 20:10; Deuteronomy 22:22; Hebrews 13:4), Incest: sex with a close relative (Leviticus 18), Homosexuality: sexual relations with a person of the same gender (Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:24-28), Rape: violent sexual harassment (Deuteronomy 22:23-29), Fornication: consensual sex with one, other than your spouse (Exodus 22:16,17), Prostitution: Living a lifestyle of whoredom; God stated He hates it (Deuteronomy 23:17,18) and Bestiality: sex with animals- a perversion detested by God (Leviticus 20:15,16). Friends, are you married or single; do not drink water from strangers, do not enter the bosom of another man’s wife, let not your sexual intimacy be with others than your wife. Share your love only with your spouse.
There is no amount of prayer that can turn your spouse’s heart to you without good sexual intimacy. Adam and Eve were both naked one to another without shame- they were in the garden alone playing and having sexual fun and intimacy, this typified sexual bonding. How well you satisfy your spouse in bed plays a key role in your relationship with him/her. Have you made it your culture to always cheat on your spouse? Repent today. Learn to know, identify and satisfy your spouse’s sexual drives, needs and mood times. A man’s need for sex is one of the strongest needs imaginable that God has deposited in him that every wise wife must ensure they meet. Why? This is part of his make up that gives him great fulfillment before men and God. When you recognize this need as a wife and consciously satisfy his craving for it, you create a place in his heart for your longing.
Sex was God’s leading idea in the beginning as He saw that it was very good in creation. God’s idea was therefore that sex was restricted for the married only with their spouses and never for Singles.
Prayer Lines: Father, give me the grace and strength to satisfy the sexual needs of my spouse and help me to drink his/her water only.
